Estate Planning and Trust Administration

When helping you plan for the future, we always start by asking, if there was no such thing as taxes, how would you like to distribute your estate? We believe that the best estate plans achieve the client's wishes first while ensuring that their personal needs are met during life and preserving the assets of the estate.

Services include:

  • Structuring and drafting of wills and living trusts, durable powers of attorney for financial management, advance health care directives, community property agreements, etc.

  • Succession planning for business owners, family partnerships, and LLCs

  • Planning fiduciary and trustee liability, charitable trusts, trust and estate administration, life insurance planning, and post-death tax planning.

  • Estate and Trust Administration

This includes counseling and representation before the Internal Revenue Service, Franchise Tax Board and Tax Court.

Business Planning

This includes the organization of corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies and the ongoing operation of these entities; buy-sell agreements; the purchase and sale of assets and/or ownership of closely held businesses; key-person employment agreements; and the transition of ownership to family members or key employees.

"Keith, In my thirty-three years of running a business, I have had the opportunity to work with many legal and professional organizations. A lot of companies tout great service and attention to detail but fail in their performance. It is so refreshing to do business with people, such as yourself, that really do perform!"

“Dear Keith: In all my 35 years of tax practice, I have never seen another tax professional handle a matter as impressively as you handled the IRS audit of (name of client’s) estate.

Your knowledge, communicating ability, and perseverance are to be greatly admired. But I was more impressed with your willingness and ability to work under severe time pressure and do whatever was necessary to get the job done.”
