A PROFESSIONAL LAW CORPORATION

WHAT WE DO

The Schiller Law Group is the preeminent estate planning, business succession, and tax compliance firm offering extensive expertise and a value-added benefit to its clients with an array of business organization, estate planning, taxation, and tax compliance needs. We represent clients throughout California, often assisting them with their most challenging issues. The majority of our clients are derived from referrals from other professionals or existing clients.

Keith Schiller, the shareholder of the firm, is a Certified Specialist in Taxation Law and Estate Planning Probate and Trust Law. He is the author of Estate Planning At The Movies® — Art of the Estate Tax Return, an award-winning textbook on estate tax return preparation. He lectures throughout the United States, primarily for certified public accountants as part of their continuing education requirements on several estate planning, trust administration, business succession planning, and compliance subjects. Keith has authored more than one dozen major tax articles and written course texts for nine continuing education courses. Among the courses he currently teaches are Estate Tax Audit and Appeals (which he co-teaches with Senior IRS Estate Tax Attorneys or Appeal Officers) and Estate Planning for the Closely-held Business Owner after the 2001 Tax Act.

Keith is a member of the BNA Tax Management Advisory Board for Estates, Gifts and Trusts Journal, and of the Advisory Group for the Leimberg Information Services®, Inc. newsletter. He is only one of four practitioners in the nation to be recognized in this way.

Our firm is dedicated to responsive and quality service to our clients. We are proud of our business relationships with clients, which span many years; several of our clients have been with Mr. Schiller throughout his 36+ year career in the practice of law.

"Keith,

In my thirty-three years of running a business, I have had the opportunity to work with many legal and professional organizations. A lot of companies tout great service and attention to detail but fail in their performance. It is so refreshing to do business with people, such as yourself, that really do perform!"

“Dear Keith: In all my 35 years of tax practice, I have never seen another tax professional handle a matter as impressively as you handled the IRS audit of (name of client’s) estate.

Your knowledge, communicating ability, and perseverance are to be greatly admired. But I was more impressed with your willingness and ability to work under severe time pressure and do whatever was necessary to get the job done.”

Steve Leimberg, nationally recognized estate planning guru and publisher, observed:

"Brightness is uncommon, brillaince with humour even more so, but brilliance with humour and wisdom -- and practicality and poetry to boot is...sublime.

Our newest LISI Commentator is Keith Schiller, Esq. the Schiller Law Group, PC, in Orinda, California who brings Leimberg Information members both wisdom and smiles."
